Location: Prairie Meadows Pavilion
The Pavilion is located in the back of Prairie Meadows Racetrack. To get there, you will go to the main entrance and walk through to the racetrack entrance. Once outside, you will see signs stating IPTA Driver Dinner and a separate building.
Registration has been sent to each transit manager or CEO to register participants and guests. Please ask your transit manager for any registration details.
Roadeo Check-In & Practice:
Check-In Time: 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm on Friday, June 19, at The Meadows Events & Conference Center.
Registration is at the IPTA registration table. You will be able to pick up the Roadeo information packet and shirt for the event.
Practice Time: 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm on Friday, June 19.
The course is located across the street from the Prairie Meadows Hotel, in the employee parking lot.

Friday
- 12 pm - 4:00 pm - Driver and Volunteer Check-In
- 12 pm - 4:00 pm - Practice Course Open for Small and Large Buses
- 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm - Driver Awards Dinner | Prairie Meadows Pavilion - Special Local Comedian Ian Pope will start our event and Austin Myers, Des Moines DART will be our award emcee for the night
Saturday
- 8:00 am - Driver and Volunteer Check-In
- 8:30 am - Judges Orientation
- 9:00 am - Driver Orientation
- 9:30 am - Competition for Large Bus Begins
- 10:30 am - Competition for Small Bus Begins (may vary depending on number of participants)
- 11:30 am - Lunch will be served
- 12:00 pm - Awards Announced (timing may vary)
- 12:30 pm - Volunteers Work to Tear Down Roadeo
Roadeo Course and Practice:
The Roadeo course will be located in the Prairie Meadows Employee Parking lot, located across from the hotel, outlined in red on the map. Parking will still be in the normal guest parking lot.
